Cross-linked power cable product experiment and inspection method

According to the provisions of GB12706-91, cross-linked power cables, like other low-voltage power cables, have their strict electrical and mechanical performance specifications. The test types for each performance index include routine experiments, sampling experiments, and type experiments. The following small series briefly introduces the experiment and inspection method of cross-linked cable products.

1, routine experiment:

Routine experiment is the factory experiment, which is the experiment that each cable must carry out. There are three routine experiments for cross-linked cables, namely:

a, partial discharge test should be carried out on a cable. 1.5 times the U0 AC voltage, rated voltage U0 is 18kV and below the cross-link cable discharge capacity should not exceed 20pC; for 18kV cross-linked cable discharge capacity should not exceed 10pC.

b. Conductor DC resistance test. Should be carried out on all conductors of the cable, and the DC resistance of the conductor shall comply with the relevant standards.

c. The AC voltage experiment was conducted on a cable. AC experimental voltage is 2.5 times U0, pressurization for 5 minutes. Breakdown does not occur as qualified.

2, sampling experiments:

a, structural inspection Check the cable conductor structure, insulation thickness, shielding structure, sheath thickness, cable diameter and so on.

b. Thermal extension test The test temperature is 200±3°C, the load time is 15 minutes, the load is 20N/cm2, the maximum elongation under load is 175%, and the permanent elongation after cooling is up to 15%.

c. The 4-hour AC voltage experiment is 4 times U0 for 4 hours without breakdown during the experiment.
