·Overseas market has become a new growth point for new energy buses in China

According to customs statistics, in 2016, the export of automobiles was 81,000 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 7.2%, of which bus exports were 142,000, a year-on-year increase of 20.3%. In the export of automobile vehicles, passenger cars have grown significantly year-on-year. As a rising star, new energy buses have developed rapidly in terms of exports, and there is a great rise.

New energy bus exports have more advantages

China's new energy bus technology has reached the world's leading level, compared to traditional power buses, more global competitiveness. Since 2009, China officially launched the "Ten Cities and Thousand Vehicles" demonstration project, and the new energy buses have developed rapidly since then. At the same time, China has accumulated rich operational experience in the field of new energy buses. Taking Yutong Bus as an example, in 2016 alone, the sales volume of Yutong New Energy Bus has exceeded 26,000. The production scale of new energy buses in China is the best in the world.

In foreign countries, such as Europe, although the emphasis on new energy buses, but the government support is far less than China, due to insufficient investment in research and development of new energy vehicles, new energy buses in Europe are developing slowly, and new in production, sales and operation. In terms of energy buses, most countries have not yet formed systematic experience. Therefore, China's new energy buses have absolute global competitiveness.

In addition, in terms of selling prices, new energy buses are equally competitive in overseas markets without government subsidies. There was a Daimler report showing that the average price of Mercedes-Benz passenger car chassis is 100,000 euros. If the tops are loaded, the average price of European passenger cars should be more than 1.5 million yuan. For example, BYD K9 pure electric bus is used. It is also about 1.8 million yuan. Therefore, domestic new energy buses are also competitive in price compared to traditional European diesel passenger cars.

Transition from developing countries to developed countries

In fact, as early as China began to promote new energy buses, China's new energy buses have opened the way to overseas markets. In 2009, Jinlong Bus sold the first hybrid bus to Singapore, achieving a zero breakthrough in the export of domestic self-owned hybrid buses. Since then, many domestic bus manufacturers such as Yutong Bus, Suzhou Jinlong, Xiamen Golden Brigade and BYD have also opened up new markets for new energy buses. At present, China's new energy buses have not only achieved sales operations in developing countries such as South America, but also developed countries and regions such as Europe and the United States.

Previously, China's passenger car exports were mainly concentrated in developing countries such as South America. At present, under the guidance of new energy buses, domestic bus exports have opened more and more developed countries. In France, for example, in 2015, at the World Climate Conference in Paris, Yutong Pure Electric Bus was the only non-European brand vehicle to be displayed and promoted. During the previous 2015 Belgian Bus Show, Yutong was released. Pure electric buses for the European market, and have been commissioned in European cities such as Paris.

Also in France, in March 2016, Xiamen Golden Brigade and the Dutch bus manufacturer launched an all-aluminum body pure electric bus, which was ordered by Transdev of France. Previously, Jinlv's all-aluminum body pure electric bus also landed in the Netherlands and exported to Norway, which was widely recognized by the European market. As the world's largest electric vehicle manufacturer, BYD's pure electric bus has entered the United States, Canada, South Korea, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Australia and many other developed countries. Up to now, BYD pure electric buses have sold more than 10,000 vehicles worldwide, with a cumulative operating mileage of 200 million kilometers. They have demonstrated or commercialized operations in more than 170 cities on 6 continents, more than 50 countries.

Overseas markets may become their new growth point

In recent years, the production and sales volume of new energy buses has achieved substantial growth in China. Now, the opening up of overseas markets will become its new market growth point.

It is understood that the global large and medium-sized passenger car market has a capacity of about 500,000 vehicles, of which the demand in the Chinese market accounts for about one-third, while the demand in developed countries such as Europe, America, Japan and South Korea is slightly more than 1/3, and the remaining one-third is India. , South America and other developing countries. If China's new energy buses can achieve sustained exports in developed countries and developing countries, their market space can be imagined.

At present, under the circumstances of increasing air pollution control and energy shortage, countries have also formulated strict standards and regulations, which will force the upgrading of new energy vehicle industry. Among them, Europe, the United States, and Japan, respectively, 4.4%, 4.5%, 3.9% annual increase in fuel consumption regulations, forced to reduce energy consumption and reduce carbon dioxide emissions; the EU has also been reducing emissions calling for new energy vehicles, and there are regulatory restrictions. Therefore, as the global demand for new energy buses becomes more and more urgent, as a country with mature new energy buses, China may gain more market opportunities.

At present, Chinese buses have become the main brands in some overseas countries. For example, 99% of Cuban buses are manufactured by Yutong. On October 31, 2016, Yutong also launched a new energy bus in Cuba. It is also the first time that China's own brand new energy bus has appeared in the Cuban market. .

The Chinese bus represented by Suzhou Jinlong has also built a pure electric bus production base abroad. In December 2016, the pure electric bus production base jointly built by Suzhou Jinlong Haige Bus and Kazakhstan's well-known research center PARASAT officially settled in Almaty, Kazakhstan. The new Haige pure electric bus jointly developed and manufactured will serve 2017. World Expo in Kazakhstan.

It can be seen that the overseas market of new energy buses in China is rapidly rising. In the future, the overseas market trend of China's new energy buses is also particularly worth looking forward to.
