New ambulance for the Lansing FD

Congratulations to Chief Chad Kooyenga and the Lansing Fire Department on their latest acquisition—a brand-new 2022 Wheeled Coach Type I custom ambulance! This state-of-the-art unit is built on a 2022 Ford F-550 4×2 chassis and features a Liquid Spring rear suspension for enhanced ride quality and stability. The ambulance includes a 170” module with an impressive 72” interior headroom, making it ideal for both patient care and crew comfort. Inside, you'll find custom cabinetry, Whelen LED emergency and scene lighting, drop skirt body sides for easy access, Per4 Max Restraint Systems, and a Stryker Power Load System. This will be Lansing’s second Wheeled Coach unit, and we're thrilled to continue supporting them in their mission to serve the community with the best possible equipment.
