In early 2020, our Flyability team was all set to host our very first U.S. user conference in Denver, Colorado. It was meant to celebrate the launch of our inaugural U.S. office. Unfortunately, the global situation changed dramatically due to the pandemic, and we had to make the tough call to cancel the event. But we didn't want to let that stop us from sharing the knowledge and insights we'd planned to present. So, we decided to take the conference online and bring it to you through a series of webinars starting on Thursday, April 9th and running throughout May.
Our original 2020 User Conference was shaping up to be a fantastic event, with sessions and panel discussions focused on indoor UAS inspections in diverse sectors across the U.S., such as chemicals, oil & gas, power generation, and mining. We had already received over 200 registrations, and our speaker list was nothing short of impressive. Among them were experts from leading drone companies like DJI and Pix4D, as well as representatives from inspection standards bodies like API and ASME, along with key figures from major organizations like Chevron and Duke Energy.
While the cancellation was disappointing, we’re excited to share that we're bringing these valuable insights directly to you via our webinar series. Each session will feature keynote speakers who were originally scheduled to present at the canceled conference.
