The 11000 kW marine tugboat is mainly used for offshore towing operations of offshore vessels, barges and drilling platforms. The ship has set up three firsts in the same type of ships in China: the first choice is the two-stroke diesel engine as the main engine; the main engine power is 5800 kW × 2 units, which is the largest power in China; the ship's column drag force is designed to be 200 tons, and the actual drag force is reached. 205.4 tons, the largest drag in the country.
During the construction and test of the ship, the maritime ship completed the mooring test project of the whole ship within one month; completed the three major modification projects proposed by the design institute in one week; the overtime work of the main shaft was dismantled and the blade was completed during the Spring Festival. The paint was removed and the outer shell of the ship was cleaned; the blade and shaft system were removed and installed within 4 days of docking; the sea trial project of the whole ship was completed in two days and two nights.
