Using mobile devices in the sun is a very painful thing for the eyes, but scientists have developed a new type of display that allows people to enjoy smart devices outdoors normally.
Eyes are always hard to see with their screens when using smart phones and tablets outdoors. These glasses always like to reflect the sun and blur your sight. Some people try to solve this problem with anti-glare filters. Some companies have also applied for special coatings but this has not really solved the problem.
Scientists at the Institute of Photonics Science, together with Cornilla glass maker Corning, came up with a new idea that by using a special glass, glare and reflection can be effectively reduced. The surface of the new material allows it to scatter and deflect strong light without affecting its transparency. This technology is considered to be applicable to devices such as televisions that are cheap and larger in size.
