SBM wins order for FPSO turntable mooring system

SBM Offshore has announced that it has been awarded a contract for Ichthys LNG project to provide FPSO with a turntable mooring system and services for engineering, procurement, assembly, etc., which will be integrated into Ichthys' FPSO.
The large complex turntable mooring system for the new FPSO is one of SBM Offshore's core products and is expected to be installed in mid-2015.
The FPSO is 335 meters long and has a mooring depth of 250 meters. The turntable has a diameter of 20 meters, a height of 65 meters and a weight of 7,000 tons. It has been designed and operated for 40 years.
