Google Glass reads your thoughts to tell you the age and sex

German scientists have developed Google Glass by analyzing their facial expressions, in addition to measuring a person's age and sex to measure the software of human emotions. Researchers at the Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits have adapted real-time face detection and analysis software to work with Google Glass, the first app in its class.
With the help of the glass's integrated camera, the app detects faces and judges their emotions by analyzing their facial expressions. The so-called glass (Google App Glass), while measuring people's age or gender, detects, among other things, but it cannot determine their identity, the researchers said.
All calculations are performed by the central processor integrated in eye wear in real time. Image data never leaves the device. Advances opened up new smart eye-wear applications, including communication aids for people with diseases such as autism, and many people have an entire spectrum of emotions that are difficult to interpret through facial expressions.
The missing information can be superimposed on people's fields of vision and data glasses. Even for visually impaired people, the new software benefits from the added audio information received by people around them in their surroundings, the researchers said. By taking additional functions to determine the gender of people or estimate their age, the software can be applied to other applications such as interactive games or market research analysis.
