In terms of profits, from January to March, state-owned enterprises realized a total profit of 482.86 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 9.1%, which was an increase of 32.2% in March from February. State-owned enterprises realized a net profit of 347.52 billion yuan, of which the net profit attributable to the parent company owners was 247.2 billion yuan.
In terms of taxes and fees payable, from January to March, state-owned enterprises should pay 895.91 billion yuan in taxes and fees, an increase of 8.6% year-on-year. The tax paid was 943.5 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 16%. In terms of profitability, the total cost of state-owned enterprises in the first quarter was 9,049.95 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 14.6%.
