Xinhua News Agency, Beijing, February 13 (Reporter Li Zhiyong) Beiqi Foton Motor Co., Ltd. recently signed strategic cooperation framework agreements with Sinopec Corp. and China Railway Construction Co., Ltd., and will carry out extensive cooperation in R&D, manufacturing, procurement, market development, and brand communications.
According to report, the cooperation between Foton Motor, Sinopec Corp. and China Railway Construction will mainly focus on information sharing and market interoperability. Sinopec Corp. and China Railway Construction Corporation respectively promised to give priority to the opening of the market for Foton Motors, and will include Foton Motor as the preferred supplier of logistics equipment, engineering construction, and corporate business. For Sinopec Corp. and China Railway Construction Co., Ltd., the two large-scale families, the strategic cooperation with Foton Motor will undoubtedly reduce the cost of vehicles.
