Jinhua 600,000 tons PTA project passed national review

At present, in the Jinxi Chemical Machinery (Group) Co., Ltd., the National Development and Reform Commission presided over the pilot plant pilot plant with an annual output of 600,000 tons of PTA project, and visited the heavy-capacity workshop and turbine company. The review team reviewed the data and discussed the technical development work report. The assessment team believed that based on the full digestion and absorption of imported equipment from abroad, the research and development of the PTA drying process and the mechanical structure of the dryer were completed. The large-scale CTA/PTA dryer with independent intellectual property rights has important practical significance. The localization of the PTA device dryer drastically reduced the investment in equipment and ended the history of China's reliance on imports for large dryers.
PTA is the main raw material for the production of polyester films, fibers and packaging resins, as well as a widely used basic chemical raw material. At present, China's “Eleventh Five-Year Plan” plans to increase the localization of PTA plant equipment, and requires that the localization rate of new PTA plant equipment with an annual production capacity of 600,000 tons during the “11th Five-Year Plan” period exceeds 80?. Under this background, Jinhua has reviewed the situation and seized rare historical opportunities. After nearly two years of research, inspections, and pre-operations, it invested millions of yuan in scientific and technological funds and a large amount of manpower. It contracted the National Development and Reform Commission and the China Machinery Industry Federation. Major national key technical equipments of the “11th Five-Year Plan” organized by the Major Organizing Committee—the key equipment drying machine in the 600,000-tonne PTA plant. From the start of March 3, 2006 to the completion of the last group of overload tests on March 16th, a large amount of precious data was obtained, which allowed the research of the drying process principle and the structural design of the dryer to be deepened. Specifications PTA dryer has accumulated rich experience and laid a solid foundation.
The evaluation of the pilot plant indicates that Jinhua has achieved a phased victory in the R&D of 600,000 tons of PTA project dryers. In the next step, they will actively devote the results of the pilot test to an annual output of 600,000. The development of tons of PTA project dryers will make greater contribution to the localization of large-scale PTA equipment in China.

PT100 Temperature Control

SKYELEC Heater Rod Thermostats are suitable for use with Single Phase to control heating in electroplating baths.They are equipped with a 1.6 metre supply cord and standard red cap terminal casing.


The temperature control probe is suitable for automatic control of a pre-set value in the process media and are suitable for heaters up to 2.3 kw single phase. For higher loads, or three phase heaters an additional contactor should be used.

The probes construction makes it ideally suited for etch, pickle and plating solutions. Its robust construction and chemical resistance ensures a long service life. To set the rod thermostat, unscrew the red cover which provides access to the temperature setting control knob. Turn until the desired temperature is opposite the arrow.

Comes complete with heavy duty terminal box and adjustable mounting blocks ready for connection.

The units incorporate an integral 25 amp rated thermostat unit housed with a chemically resistant, PVC coated steel terminal box, complete with quick fix brackets.

The thermostat opens on a rising temperature. Range: 25°C to 100°C. They are suitable for up to 6 kw heaters on a single phase supply. For higher loads or a three phase supply an additional contactor should be used.

The control knob is situated outside the PVC coated terminal box.
