Gravity Separation 6-S Shaking Table
Also known as a table concentrator, the 6-S shaking table is a gravity separation device used for fine minerals. It is highly effective in processing precious and base metals, rare metals, and non-metallic minerals. It is widely used in the separation of Gold, Silver, Tin, Columbium, Tantalum, Titanium, Barium, Tungsten, Iron, Chrome, Manganese, Zircon, Lead, Zinc, Mercury, Copper, Aluminum, and more.
The raw material is placed into the feeding launder, and water is added to create a slurry with a concentration of 20% to 25%, which then flows by gravity onto the deck. The particles become loose and layered due to the washing action of water and the shaking of the deck. After layering, the upper and bottom particles move in different directions due to the difference in pressure from flowing water and friction on the bed surface. Lighter particles move downward along the transverse of the bed surface due to stronger water flow, which is referred to as the tailing side. Heavier mineral particles located at the bottom of the bed layer are influenced by differential movement of the bed surface, causing them to move toward the opposite end of the drive, known as the concentrate side. Due to differences in density, particle size, and direction of movement, the mineral particles spread in a fan-shaped pattern along the diagonal of the feeding launder. The production discharge occurs along the edge of the bed surface, with a long discharge line allowing the shaking table to produce multiple types of high-quality products precisely.
Precise separation is one of the key advantages of the shaking table. After the first separation from the raw mineral, we can obtain final concentrate, final tailings, and one or two kinds of middling products. The enrichment ratio of the concentrate is very good, and when dealing with low-grade tungsten and tin ores, it can reach up to 300 times. Additionally, the effective particle size range for separating metallic ores is 2 to 0.02 mm.

Construction and Mechanical Features:
The head motion of Gandong shaking tables is equipped with a fully enclosed self-lubricating heavy cast iron mechanism containing an oil reservoir for optimal splash lubrication. This feature protects moving parts and minimizes operating and maintenance costs.
Decks: The decks are made of a steel framework covered with 16mm fiberglass and emery, providing strength equivalent to 70% of steel. This design is strong, wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant, and distortion-free, extending the machine's lifespan and ensuring reliable performance under various mineral and weather conditions.
Support Types: Traditional type, 10# channel steel support, or 20# channel steel support are available.
Feed and Water Box: A wooden feed distributing box with a hopper and a long water box is attached to the deck’s iron frame, ensuring even distribution of feed and water.
Technical Specifications: The Gandong Shaking Tables have three distinct deck designs available:
- Coarse Ore Deck: Designed for recovering particles ranging from 0.5 mm to 2 mm.
- Fine Sand Deck: Designed for recovering fine particles in the range of 0.074 mm to 0.5 mm.
- Slime Deck: Designed for recovering ultra-fine particles in the range of 0.02 mm to 0.074 mm.
