Contactor attention and working principle

Operating principle:

When the contactor coil is energized, a magnetic field is generated in the coil current, which causes the electromagnetic attraction of the iron core to attract the moving iron core, and the movement contact of the strand: the normally closed contact is opened, the normally open contact is closed, and the two are linked. When the coil is de-energized, the electromagnetic suction is not seen, and the armature is released under the effect of releasing the spring to restore the contact: the normally open contact is open and the normally closed contact is closed.

Similar to the principle of communicating contactors, the difference lies in that the contact coil of the contactor is powered by the communication power supply, the DC coil of the DC contactor is powered by the DC power supply, and the DC coil of the DC contactor is DC, and there is no instantaneous value of the DC power. In the indulgence time, the effective value is flat, there is no zero crossing, so the DC contactor armature does not have to be installed to avoid the lower zero-crossing voltage lower absorption force occurs, the formation of contactor trembling and dynamic appearance of the short circuit ring.

The operation principle of the direct contactor is similar to that of the communication contactor, but the magnetic field energy stored by the rational load instantaneously releases when the DC is disconnected, and the high-energy arc occurs at the breakpoint, thus requiring the DC contactor to have a certain arc extinguishing function. The medium/large-capacity DC contactor often uses a single-point plane arrangement overall plan, which is characterized by a long arc interval at the time of breaking, and an arc extinguishing cover containing an arc extinguishing grid. The small-capacity DC contactor uses a double breakpoint three-dimensional arrangement plan.

Precautions:

The following points should be noted when selecting contactors.

1. The extra voltage of the main contact ≥ the load extra voltage.

2. The extra current of the main contact is ≥ 1.3 times the load extra current.

3, coil additional voltage. When the circuit is simple and the use of electrical appliances is small, 220V or 380V may be selected. When the line is cluttered and the use of electrical appliances is more or less secure, 36V, 110V or 127V may be used.

4. The contactor's contact number and variety should be satisfactory to control the line requirements.

5, the operating frequency (on the number of contacts per hour). When the on-off current is large and the on-off frequency exceeds the regular value, a contactor type with an extra current of one level should be selected. Otherwise, the contacts will be severely heated and even welded together, which constitutes a phase loss operation such as a motor.
