A few days ago, Bridgestone received a majority stake in ARS Slovakia , a tire retailer and tire retreading manufacturer.

The tire giant from Japan did not disclose the specific amount of the transaction, nor did it publicly disclose how the ARS company's shareholding structure was. However, Bridgestone said that the transaction will "guarantee ARS's steady growth and ensure that customers can enjoy the highest quality products and the highest level of service."

Bridgestone wins stake in Slovak Tire Company

As a former Michelin strategic partner, ARS' eight service locations will be renamed Bridgestone's strategic partners, and its tire-renovation facility will also be incorporated into Bridgestone's Bandag Tire Renovation Network. This will help ARS to take a larger share of the Slovak commercial vehicle tire market.

ARS Co., Ltd. was established in 1992 and is located in Banska Bistrita, Slovakia. It has now developed into the country's main supplier of tire solutions.
