The reporter learned from the Municipal Traffic Enforcement Corps that the "Notice on the Installation of Fixed Video Surveillance Equipment at the Beijing West Railway Station, Beijing Railway Station, and Beijing South Railway Station Taxi Station" has been issued to all taxi companies, various network car platform companies and other units. Every taxi driver and dispatcher is required to strictly abide by.
The "Notice" clarified the scope of the adjusted three major railway station taxi business districts, and publicized the electronic monitoring area. Beijing South Railway Station, the east side taxi car business station is located in the basement east parking lot, the west side taxi business station is located in the underground one floor west parking lot; Beijing station, taxi business station is located in the north side of the front square of Beijing Railway Station; Beijing West Railway Station, set up a North Square and South Square taxi business station.
The reporter noted that, unlike the “electronic police†that used to capture the illegal traffic of social vehicles, the electronic monitoring equipment that was launched this time clearly focused on taxi operating stations and used scientific and technological means to control and investigate traffic violations.
According to the requirements of the "Notice", taxis carrying passengers to the station should temporarily stop and drop off passengers on the roads where parking is allowed. They should leave immediately after the drop-off, and should not stop and privately pick up passengers. The cruise taxis intended to be operated by passengers should be queued to the taxi business station. When waiting for passengers, they should be queued in the waiting area, followed by the order and obey the dispatcher. Internet reservations for taxis are not allowed to cruise and pick up passengers at the cruiser dispatching station. Any taxi that is reserved for pick-up will be parked in the social parking lot after entering the station.
In case of violation of relevant regulations, the traffic law enforcement department will impose administrative penalties in accordance with relevant regulations and timely record illegal records into the personal credit information system.
