Application of Frequency Control in M84100 Roll Grinder

1 Introduction Anyang Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. (referred to as Angang) medium plate M84100 roll grinder is dubbed for the three-roller lathe mill and was put into use in 1975. Since the 2800mm four-roll mill was put into production, the four-roller mill was eliminated, but the four-roll mill was not commissioned at the time, and the four-roll mill had a large volume, heavy weight and high grinding accuracy. The M84100 roll grinder can not meet the technical requirements of the work roll grinding of the four-high mill. Considering the good mechanical properties of the M84100 roll grinder, it is decided to carry out technical transformation, using PLC control and frequency control, full digital DC adjustment. Advanced control settings such as speed systems replace the original relay control section to meet the requirements of the new sound grinding process.

2 Design and implementation of the total sound capacity of 186CW, a total of 21 large and small motors installed, of which the total capacity of DC motor is 120kW, AC motor total 4.3 automatic restart protection function instantaneous power failure restart function set value selection 0 , the instantaneous power failure and restart does not work. After the abnormal power failure occurs, the protection function is activated. When the power is restored, the inverter stops outputting and stops. Restarting when the protection function reset command and the rerun command are input further improves the safety and reliability of the set sound.

The capacity is 66kW, and several beds use three-phase 380V, 50Hz AC power. The drive system of the machine tool includes the following aspects: workpiece drive: DC generator with continuous magnetic motor control system controlled by magnetic amplifier; grinding wheel drive: using magnetic amplifier, DC generator, DC motor speed control system; The motor amplifier is always a motor speed control system.

The working principle of the M84100 roll grinder is: firstly start the static pressure pump to lubricate the Grinding Machine , then start the workpiece motor to drive the workpiece (end)
