According to the data released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, in April, a total of 1,074,017 engines were produced, representing a 2.81% increase compared to the previous month. Engine sales reached 1,147,023 units, marking a significant rise of 14.88%. Meanwhile, the sale of complete vehicles totaled 1,156,834 units, up 5.61%, and passenger car sales amounted to 1,135,082 units, an increase of 3.91% from the previous period.
In April, under the influence of several national stimulus policies, China's auto production and sales hit a new high, with both figures surpassing 1.15 million units for the first time. This marks the fourth consecutive month that China has become the world's largest automotive market, overtaking the United States. As the automotive sector continues to grow rapidly, it has also driven strong growth in the domestic engine market. In April, the engine market saw another record-breaking performance, building on the momentum from March. For the first time, both production and sales of engines exceeded one million units in a single month, with sales slightly outpacing production, reaching over 1.1 million units.
