The 2BV series water ring vacuum pumps are ideal for pumping gases and steam. They can achieve a suction pressure of up to 33 mbar (abs), which is equivalent to 97% vacuum level. When using transformer oil as the operating liquid, these pumps function as oil ring vacuum pumps, achieving a suction pressure of 6.7 mbar (abs) or 99% vacuum level. This makes them a perfect replacement for reciprocating vacuum pumps.
When used as compressors, the maximum discharge pressure can reach 0.26 MPa (abs). The higher the discharge pressure, the more power the compressor requires. Therefore, it's essential to provide the discharge pressure data when selecting the appropriate motor.
The 2BV series water ring vacuum pumps and compressors offer superior performance and are designed to completely replace older models such as the SK, 2SK, W, WY, and WL series.
The **2BV6** model features a stainless steel construction, making it suitable for applications requiring high corrosion resistance and cleanliness. The **2BV2-Ex** and **2BV6** series are specifically designed for use in explosive environments or with flammable gases, maintaining the same technical parameters as the 2BV2 or 2BV5 series.
All internal components that come into contact with the liquid—such as the pump casing, cover, port plate, and impeller—are made from various grades of stainless steel, including:
