The multi-point injection technology of natural gas engines independently developed by Xichai has abandoned the current single-point injection technology and is a domestic initiative. It adopts the gas rail + gas nozzle technology route. Each cylinder has gas nozzles evenly distributed on the air rails and extends its ducts near the inlet valves of each cylinder to achieve multi-point controllable injection. This not only improves the natural gas engine's instantaneous Responsiveness also eliminates the phenomenon of tempering and cracking produced by natural gas engines when using foreign single point injection systems.

Compared with foreign natural gas fuel systems, Xichai natural gas engine multi-point injection gas system has the advantages of more accurate air-fuel ratio control, better vehicle acceleration and deceleration, better low-speed dynamic performance, and lower gas consumption rate. At the same time, the independently developed Xichai natural gas engine has a smaller number of components for multi-injection gas systems than foreign systems.
