DESCRIPTION
The 2SK Series Two-Stage Liquid Ring Vacuum Pump is designed to operate efficiently like two sets of SK series water ring vacuum pumps. Due to the limitations of the SK series in achieving high vacuum levels (up to -700 mmHg), China developed the 2SK series in the 1980s to meet the demand for higher vacuum and larger pumping speed under high vacuum conditions.

FEATURES
1. The SK and 2SK series water ring vacuum pumps are suitable for exhausting both ordinary gases and condensable gases (such as water vapor). Their isothermal compression feature allows them to handle flammable and explosive gases. When using anti-corrosive materials, they can also be used for corrosive gas applications.
2. The 2YK series liquid ring vacuum pumps offer improved vacuum performance and broader applicability. By selecting the appropriate working media, they can handle different types of gases, making them suitable for a wider range of applications.
3. These pumps run smoothly, produce low noise, and consume less energy. They are 30% more energy-efficient compared to water jet and steam jet pumps.

A finned tube is a heat transfer device consisting of many parallel metal fins commonly used for heat dissipation and cooling applications. Finned tubes increase the surface area of the pipe, thus increasing the heat transfer efficiency. Finned tubes are commonly used in applications such as air coolers, automotive radiators, condensers, and evaporators. They are also used in industrial heaters and refrigerators to increase heat transfer surface area and improve efficiency.
Finned tube is a kind of new, wear-resistant, efficient heat exchange material, is a kind of energy-saving heat exchange element, it uses high-frequency power source as heat source, the steel strip, steel pipe heating at the same time, so that the fusion welding together into one, with high heat exchange efficiency, large cooling area, long service life, adapt to a wide range of temperature, high pressure characteristics, it can also be made of a variety of materials, Excellent heat transfer, durability, heat resistance and corrosion resistance. Widely used in waste heat recovery, petrochemical, power plant boiler, economizer, bus, industrial and civil construction heating, refrigeration, medical drying, wood drying, food drying system and other industries.

APPLICATIONS
This pump is widely used in vacuum drying, vacuum degassing, vacuum concentration, vacuum evaporation, and vacuum impregnation processes across various industries such as chemical, pharmaceutical, metallurgy, food, medicine, textile, papermaking, and electrical engineering (including the electronics industry). It can be combined with Roots Vacuum Pumps and atmospheric jet pumps to achieve high vacuum, high efficiency, and low power consumption.
Regular Selection for Water/Liquid Ring Vacuum Pump
1. Based on the vacuum value:
(1) If the pump operates for a long time with an inlet pressure range between 1.3×10â´~1×10âµ Pa (between 100 and 760 Torr), choose the SK series water ring vacuum pump.
(2) If the pump operates for a long time with an inlet pressure range between 5×10³~1.3×10ⴠPa (between 40 and 100 Torr), choose the 2SK series water ring vacuum pump.
(3) If the pump operates for a long time with an inlet pressure range between 1×10³~1.3×10ⴠPa (between 8 and 100 Torr), choose the 2YK series liquid ring vacuum pump.
2. Working Media:
There are four principles for choosing working media (i.e., ring liquids):
(1) Lower saturated steam pressure
(2) Lower viscosity
(3) Stable physical and chemical features; no chemical reaction with the pumped gas; no corrosion to the pump; no pollution to the environment.
(4) Economy
If water is selected as the working medium, the best temperature of supply water should be lower than or equal to 15°C; the highest one should not exceed 40°C. While transformer oil or other low viscosity and low saturated vapor pressure industrial oils are used as the working media, the general supply temperature should not exceed 40°C, and the working media temperature inside the pump chamber should not exceed 60°C. In special circumstances, if a liquid with a lower boiling point is chosen, a cooling unit must be equipped to cool the working media, ensuring the maximum temperature is between 30°C and 50°C, below the boiling point. For closed circulation systems, a liquid storage unit and cooler must be equipped, and a gas-liquid separator must be installed at the outlet. A mechanical seal should be used for the dynamic seal of the shaft.
3. Choose the dynamic seal of the shaft:
Use packing seal in general occasions; use mechanical seal when the pump is used in a no-leak condition.
4. Choose the material of the part that the gas passed:
(1) For non-anti-corrosion pumps, the shaft is made of 45# steel or 40Cr, and other parts are made of cast iron or brass.
(2) For anti-corrosion pumps, the parts that the gas passes through should be made of stainless steel 304 or 306, or other materials suitable for the respective corrosive gas, or the parts should be coated with anti-corrosion coatings.
5. Motor selection based on pumping pressure:
If the pump is used for vacuuming while transferring gas, the pump's outlet pressure exceeds standard atmospheric pressure.
When the outlet pressure exceeds 0.15 MPa, a special double-stage liquid ring compressor should be selected instead of a vacuum pump. The motor power should be significantly increased, and a special gas-liquid separator and automatic drain unit should be equipped.
When the outlet pressure is below 0.15 MPa, the vacuum pump can be refitted as a compressor. The motor power should be increased appropriately.
6. Composition methods of the water ring vacuum pump system:
An open circulation system should be used if the working liquid in the outlet does not need to be circulated or only partially circulated.
A closed circulation system should be used if the working liquid in the outlet must be circulated.
