It is understood that the 1,500-kilowatt generating unit of the Xintian Town Hou Beach Wind Farm can resist typhoon eleven, each generating 1,500 kilowatts of electricity per hour. The unit is the first in China to adopt the development method of Sino-foreign cooperation in accordance with China's wind resources and climate characteristics. It has the lowest development cost and is able to withstand extreme weather conditions such as typhoon, sand and cold, and has the advanced level of the contemporary world. Local experts said that the Xuwen County wind power project will be constructed in three phases. The initial plan is to build a scale of 300,000 to 350,000 kilowatts in five years, with a total planned investment of 2.5 billion yuan.
