Josh Boyajian was out in the city today when he came across a still and box alarm at 1851 Lawndale. Upon arrival, Engine 38 and Truck 48 were already on scene responding to the initial alarm. Shortly after, Engine 109 and Truck 32 arrived as additional units. As crews worked to bring the fire under control, Truck 38 took sector 1 while Engine 38 led the attack down the block. Squad 1 was also on hand with their American LaFrance spare piece, known as X-Engine 23.

Josh shared a few photos from the scene, capturing the efforts of the crews working the fire. The images show Engine 38 and Truck 48 positioned outside the structure, ready for action.

Josh also captured some shots of Squad 1, which was operating their American LaFrance spare engine during the response. It's always interesting to see how different units respond and work together during an incident. The fire is now under control, but the efforts of the crews on scene were crucial in preventing it from spreading further.
