Josh Boyajian was on his way through the city this afternoon when he came across a still and box alarm at 1851 Lawndale. According to his report, Engine 38 and Truck 48 were the first units on scene, followed by Engine 109 and Truck 32. Upon arrival, Truck 38 took control of Sector 1, while Engine 38 moved down the block to begin operations. Squad 1 was also on site, operating an American LaFrance spare engine known as X-Engine 23.

It’s always interesting to see how quickly crews respond and how they handle these types of calls. This was a typical still and box alarm, but it shows the level of preparedness and coordination that goes into every incident. Josh did a great job capturing the scene, and the photos give a good sense of what happened that day.
