Glencoe firefighters responded to a call at 986 Skokie Ridge Drive around 8:30 PM on Friday, September 4th, 2015, after smoke was reported coming from the house. Upon arrival, the alarm was upgraded to a Code 4 for an active working fire, and within 10 minutes, it was escalated to a Box Alarm to bring in more units. The fire was located in the basement and along the rear walls of the residence. Fortunately, no injuries were reported. Below are some photos and a short video capturing the scene.
