3-Way & 2-Chamber Control Valves
The BDV series back-flushing control valves are advanced 3-way and 2-chamber hydraulic drive diaphragm control valves designed for low-pressure sealing and smooth flow transitions. These valves can be integrated with gravel or disc filters to create an automatic backwash filtration system. They also allow the redirection of water flow in supply systems. The dual control chamber design enables the valve to switch between angular or straight flow configurations based on spring assembly orientation. The unique cavity design ensures a high volume of water flow, making it ideal for various applications.

The BSV series back-flushing control valves are used to build fully automated backwash systems when paired with gravel or disc filters. This helps maintain clean water by automatically removing debris from the filter media.

These valves are widely used in water supply pipelines to reroute the flow into either straight or angular directions, depending on the system’s needs.

How It Works?
Let's take a direct flow control valve as an example:
During normal filtration, the inlet and outlet are connected, allowing water to flow straight through. When pressurized water [1] enters the diaphragm control chamber [2], the diaphragm [3] drives the spool assembly [4] upward to the upper valve seat [5]. This seals the inlet and connects the sewage outlet, initiating the backwashing phase. Once the pressure in the control chamber is released, the water pressure in the pipeline and the spring force push the spool assembly [6] back down to the lower seat [7]. The sewage outlet is then sealed, and the valve returns to the filtration mode.
